The Planning Department of Cyprus held a contest in 2014 on designing the Logo for the Planning Board.
Among 50 entries, this participation was chosen as the winning logo design. A Corporate Visual Identity proposal followed the participation.

The idea of the logo joins the Greek letters of Π and Σ that are the initials of the Planning Board. Together they form a structure to implied the "build".
